New Officers for Women's Ministry

A beautiful luncheon on Saturday, August 21, kicked off our new year for Women's Ministry. Our new President, Vicki Caldwell, could not be with us, but Barbara Smith installed our other new officers for the coming year. Our new Vice-President, Sharon Wilson, thanked Barbara for her many years of wonderful service as President for the ladies, as well as Crystal Goldsmith who stepped down as Treasurer, and Nancy Richards who stepped down as Circle Leader.
This year we will be studying the book Let's Study Hebrews by Hywel R. Jones during our monthly Circle meetings (meets 9:30 am on the 2nd Wednesday of the month). The next Circle will meet in Kirkside Hall on Wednesday, September 8th at 9:30 am. Please read and study the introduction and chapters 1-3 in your book, and Hebrews 1:1 – 2:4 in your bible. Bertie Toler will be leading these studies.
The next Women’s Ministry board meeting will be Saturday, September 11, at 8:30 am at Kirkside Hall.
Breakfast Bunch will meet on Saturday, September 18 at 9:00 am. Bring your journals and be prepared for food and fellowship!
